Corsican souvenir shop in Corte

A Sporta is a shop selling Corsican souvenirs and regional products, located at number 3 on Place Paoli in Corte. The shop is open all week from 8.30am to 7pm from 1 April to 31 October.

Since 2010, the shop has been selling Corsican food products. A wide range of souvenir products featuring Corsica are also on offer, including towels, Corsican T-shirts, decorative items for the home, the kitchen or the car, and postcards about Corsica.

T-shirts, caps, river shoes

In the clothing section, you'll find children's utensils, boys' and girls' onesies, children's caps, T-shirts and river shoes for walking in the water without getting hurt.

For teenagers and adults, you'll find Corsica tee shirts to suit all tastes, for women and men, or mixed, with large beach towels too.

Bracelets, Corsican souvenirs, cooking and accessories

For gifts to bring home to your loved ones, you'll find something to suit every budget, from decorative items, Corsica magnets and Corte fridge magnets, to kitchen towels and souvenir Corsican knives. You'll also find chopping boards and aperitif trays, as well as Corsica shopping bags and small items such as pens, lighters, fans, cups, mugs and key rings in the shape of Corsica, not forgetting postcards.

Charcuterie corse U Niolu - Honey, liqueur, jams

A Sporta is run by Jean-Joseph Acquaviva, who has also been producing Corsican charcuterie for 30 years, selling it in his shop in Corte and in the restaurant A Casa Niulinca in Calacuccia in the Niolu.

The shop also offers a range of Corsican products made by local producers who work at fairs: Niolu or Castagniccia honey, Canistrelli, Les délices de Nicolas flavoured salts and herbs from the maquis, Confitures d'Elisa, Liqueur Negroni, Liqueur Orsini, or Cap Corse for aperitifs.

For a gift idea or to treat yourself, you can choose from small bags containing 3 jars of citron, clementine or fig jam from the Orsini estate in Calenzana, accompanied by a bottle of chestnut liqueur and nougats.

Tastings on request - Packages sent out

A Sporta offers tastings on request for groups (booking required). The establishment accepts payment by cheque, credit card and cash and can also send products by parcel post.
