Organic Wine from Corsica and AOC Ajaccio

Sixteen years ago, in pursuit of a long-held dream, Laurent Costa took over the A Peraccia estate under the expert guidance of Jean Sandamiani. The vineyard estate is marked by a black signboard along the RT20, 15 minutes from Ajaccio on the road towards Bastia. At the end of the dirt path that runs alongside the vines, you will find the boutique, open year-round, where you can taste and purchase this organic Corsican wine directly, as well as via mail order.

The wines of A Peraccia are certified as AOP Ajaccio wine and organic Corsican wine, from the vine to the grape and through to bottling.

Vineyard in the Peri Plain

Open year-round, the A Peraccia estate is located in the Peri plain - one of the sunniest regions of the island - where the vineyard enjoys a privileged position on 11 hectares of productive land.

The vineyard is organically farmed and employs natural techniques. One such method involves planting rose bushes at the beginning of the rows; these bushes contract certain diseases or fungi, such as powdery mildew, before the vines, allowing early detection and intervention against potential diseases.

In the same spirit, to weed around the vines, the organic viticulturist collaborates with a shepherdess whose sheep graze on the grass under the vines during the winter, simultaneously fertilizing the soil. A win-win situation.

Direct Sales at the Estate (Credit Card) and in Supermarkets

The A Peraccia wine is available for direct sale at the estate's boutique, adjacent to the cellar, where you can purchase wine using a credit card.

The A Peraccia wine is also on the menu of several regional restaurants.

Wine Tasting with a Sommelier

With a room specifically dedicated to such events, Laurent Costa organizes seminars at the A Peraccia estate that can accommodate up to fifty people, as on May 17, 2022, wine tastings by reservation, as well as cocktail dinners. In groups of 10 to 15 people, you will be with a sommelier who will introduce you to the world of these fruity wines and other spirits of the house. Tastings of chocolate are also organized at the A Peraccia estate, and the dates of the upcoming sessions are indicated at the Ajaccio tourist office.

Working alone, aided by seasonal workers for the harvest, Laurent Costa does not count the hours spent on the estate. Driven by a passion for the trade and a commitment to quality, his goal is to deliver a product of excellence. This personal investment demands rigor and discipline, values familiar to this former military professional.

Opening Hours

The boutique is open from Monday to Saturday in summer and on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in winter during the hours indicated at the bottom of the page.

Limoncello and Myrtle Liqueur A Peraccia

Since 2019, Laurent Costa has been marketing his Limoncello A Peraccia and his fruity Myrtle liqueur, made with marc brandy and packaged in 50 cl bottles.

You will also find at the estate's boutique the A Peraccia muscat with natural sweet wine.

Discovery Trail - Art and Wine

An art enthusiast, Laurent Costa aims to create temporary trails where one can discover, admire, and contemplate works of art amidst the vineyards.

Having transitioned from the army to the vineyard, Laurent Costa achieved his dream of returning to the land more than a decade ago. Always drawn to agriculture, he was featured in a 2011 article in Le Point - Laurent Costa Domaine A Peraccia and more recently in 2022 in an article and video by RCFM. It was in 2008 that he seized the opportunity to take over the family estate A Peraccia, with a transition ensured by his predecessor who taught him the intricacies of the winemaking profession. Laurent Costa took up the mantle of the A Peraccia estate, with the challenge of maintaining this fruity wine so beloved in the region.
